The problem

Lindsay has spent 30 years watching the same things go wrong on projects.

A change agreed on site that nobody writes down. A client left worrying for three weeks. Sundays lost to fee proposals. In her own practice, about 40% of the team's time went on work nobody could bill for.

Most software for architects is a project board you have to keep feeding. We wanted the opposite. Lewis calls it "hidden AI": Pulse reads the project for you and tells you what's changed, what needs signing off and what might cost you money, before it does.

Each project gets a recommended next action, the risks worth worrying about and a read on how the client is feeling, with Pulse's reasoning and sources alongside.

Lindsay's first question every morning is "which ones are flashing red?" The director view answers it: margin, fees, cash and capacity across the practice, with the few things that need you this week.

Is my data safe?+
Yes. Pulse is hosted in the UK, encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), with each practice's data kept separate under its own keys. The AI providers we use are contracted not to train on or retain your data. UK GDPR compliant, with SOC 2 Type II in progress.
How long does setup take?+
Connect Microsoft 365 or Google and Dropbox, and Pulse reads the last 90 days of work. It suggests the projects it has found, and most practices have a populated dashboard in under 10 minutes.
Does Pulse send emails for me?+
No. Pulse drafts replies, chasers and client updates with the sources it used, but it never sends on its own. You review, edit and press send.
What does Pulse replace?+
Most practices we speak to are duct-taping tools together: a fee spreadsheet here, a task board there, folders and email threads everywhere. Pulse brings projects, documents, email, meetings and client updates together, organised by RIBA stage.
What do my clients see?+
Clients get a free portal, and you decide what level of information each one sees: from stage progress and approvals to shared documents, meetings and invoices. Anything you don't share, like internal notes, risk flags and cost figures, stays private to your practice.
Is Pulse RIBA-aware?+
Yes. Projects are structured around RIBA Stages 0 to 7, and Pulse tracks planning, Building Regulations, party wall and CDM deadlines. We built it from our own projects first, then tested it with other architects.
Which tools does it work with?+
Microsoft 365 and Outlook, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Dropbox, with Stripe for client payments. You connect them with read-only access when you sign up.
What does it cost?+
